The CALDAC Showcase Performances are professionally produced stage shows featuring incredible talent from around the world. Each showcase celebrates the artistry, culture, and passion of Afro-Latin dance through performances by featured artists, professional companies, dance schools, student teams, youth groups, and independent performers.

Showcases take place throughout the convention:Thursday Pre-Party Showcase: 11:00 PMFriday Evening Showcase: Doors open at 7:15 PM. Performances begin shortly afterward.Saturday Evening Showcase: Doors open at 7:15 PM. Performances begin shortly afterward.Sunday Matinee Showcase: Doors open at 5:00 PM. Most Full Passes, Performers Passes, and VIP Passes include admission to the showcase performances. Check your pass type for complete details.

Not at all! You're welcome to attend one, several, or all of the performances throughout the weekend.

Yes! Every showcase features a unique lineup of performances, so no two nights are exactly the same.

We recommend arriving when the doors open to give yourself plenty of time to find a seat before the show begins.

No. Seating is generally first come, first served unless otherwise announced.

Please be considerate of other attendees. Large sections of seats should not be reserved for guests who have not yet arrived.

Depending on attendance, standing-room viewing may be available after all seats are filled.

Yes. If you need to leave, please do so quietly between performances whenever possible.

You'll experience a variety of styles including Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, Cha Cha, Casino, Kizomba, Zouk, Latin Fusion, contemporary influences, and other exciting performance pieces.

Performances feature internationally recognized artists, professional dance companies, local studios, student teams, youth performers, amateur groups, independent choreographers, and special guests.

Absolutely! Young dancers and families are welcome to enjoy the showcases. Please note that some performances may feature costumes and choreography typical of professional Latin dance that some parents may consider more mature. We recommend parents use their own discretion when deciding what is appropriate for their children.

Photography is generally welcome, provided it does not distract performers or other audience members. Please don't forget to tag CALDAC on social media when posting ;)

Yes. CALDAC often captures photos and video throughout the showcases for promotional and archival purposes.

Many performers attend the evening socials and are happy to meet attendees, take photos, and connect with the community.

There's no dress code for audience members. Wear whatever makes you comfortable, whether that's casual attire or something a little more dressy for an evening out.
